About Me
My name is Leon Pickersgill aka The Blck Prince. I was born and raised in the small City of Preston. I spent my High School years at Christ the King Catholic Maths and Computing College. This is also where I met Timonde and where we started T&L Productions but thats a different story altogether. This is probably where my ambition to make music sparked but it wasn’t until a year later when I recorded my debut track ‘All About Us’ that’s when I was fully inspired to start recording properly. My next move was to produce the ‘King Leon Freeverse’ on Facebook and I received good feedback. I have to say that I am extremely flattered by the responses I have received on Facebook, YouTube and MySpace. I feel that my musical abilities are greatly appreciated and this inspires me to be a better artist. After the King Leon Freeverse, I decided to start working on my mixtape, Music 2.2.4. This stands for music today tomorrow and forever. I named it this because of the influence music had on me in my life. Music has been there, is there and will always be there for me. On June the 5th I released the mixtape which also featured a few upcoming artists from Preston. The response once again has been brilliant. More than 15o people have downloaded it or received a CD. That’s really good for a guy who has just stepped on the scene. My debut live performance was at the Preston Carnival. I really enjoyed the experience and I can wait to do more live performances.
